1. Books are provided in either SolBook 3.5 XML except devref-xml, which is DocBook5 XML. DTDs are provided under their respective copyrights. To validate a set of book files, type the following command in the expanded shortname directory:
/home/mymachine/DRIVERTUT% ..common/validate

2. HTML for each book is provided in the top-level directory or in the html 
directory. PDFs are provided by the Docs Community at the following URL:

4. Contributing

  We welcome contributions to these documents!

  You'll need to sign a standard OpenSolaris contributor agreement
  first.  Next, send a your contributor agreement # and a pointer to
  your changes to docs-discuss@opensolaris.org with a request for
  review.  After review by the community is complete, one of the
  docs community sponsors will integrate your changes or 
  help you set up a new Project and repository for the document.
